Home School Partnership Working Together with the British Heart Foundation

British Heart Foundation Scotland is the nation’s heart charity, dedicated to saving lives every day – through pioneering research, caring for patients and families, campaigning for change, and providing vital information to help people care for their own heart health.  They rely on donations of time and money from people just like you, to help them to continue their work. The vast majority of  volunteers and supporters are involved with because they have personal experience of heart disease or they know someone who has.  BHF Scotland and the Home School Partnership are to work together with BHF Scotland giving information talks about the Charity, our life saving work our fund raising activity (Red for Heart Campaign)  – volunteer recruitment activity  –  the schools initiatives JRFH (Jump rope for Heart) and UD (Ultimate Dodge ball) and as a promotion and recruitment point for the Heart Matters magazine.

Thereby giving Home School Partnership staff, parents and children a way to access BHF Scotland’s volunteer opportunities – fundraising opportunities and their extensive resources to help improve lifestyles and health using the BHF Scotland exchange of values within communities at a higher risk of heart disease.
