Whitehill Community Christmas!  - New Pictures!

Mums involved in the SVQ Working with Others course in Whitehill chose to stage an outstanding Community Christmas event for their local community. Literally hundreds of families from the local area and beyond enjoyed a fantastic Christmas party; visited Santa and his elves and did a little Christmas shopping at the stalls. ASDAN Volunteering Short Course -     January 2012

 

Do you volunteer your time within your local community?

Do you help at the local church/ school/ nursery? or

Do you run clubs/ groups/ activities? or

Do you help out local residents?

 

Would you like to gain a recognised qualification for the work you are already doing?

 

 

This ASDAN  course is all about capturing, recognising and rewarding the volunteering work that people do in the community.

 

It's a short course which will help you get the most out of your volunteering and looks at how you can:

 

* learn about volunteering

* plan what you will be doing

* keep a record of the work you do

* review your experinces and achievement

* count it towards qualifications

* develop your skills to be more effective in life
